Bizantium- Mermaid and Seal

Another of the more Arthur Rackham-inspired clip-art-y silhouette I did for Bizantium and the Northern Islands, (Available now from Palladium Books.)

Another of the Arthur Rackham-inspired clip art-y silhouettes. A mermaid swimming with a harbor seal.  Not much to really say beyond this, it was designed to be filler-clip art stuff, and saw use on the first interior page, no less.  The seal also showed up in the animal section.

But it really has me thinking I want to do more in silhouettes, maybe even fielding silhouette commissions at conventions.  They're kinda fun to draw, and strikingly different, nowadays.
