Drawing I made for Palladium Books [link] Rifter #61, for an article on Charm/Impress rolls. This one didn't get used, and I'll upload the one that did later, but I was rather proud of this one. It really stemmed from A) My love of the game Beyond the Supernatural, B) My having been listening to City of Masks, book 1 of the Cree Black Thrillers. [link] 3) My existing love of Kim Harrison's [link] Hollow's series.

So the First Rule of Parapsychology? "Look SMASHING in a leather miniskirt!"

The image shows a paranormal investigation team, (one a medium & her invisible spirit guide) interviewing a prospective client. Obviously, great-grandma does not approve of how a modern psychic dresses!

Ah but give a read of the Rachel Morgan series by Kim Harrison. I truly excellent read in alternate history urban paranormal fantasy.

Oh yeah, I'm into her series. That's what "The Hollows" is - on my photobucket, I even
have a couple of Motivational Posters inspired by Kim Harrison's series.

as Mr.E (my Parapsychologist char) would say..
"first rule of parapsychology is never to theorize before obtaining facts. second is to exhaust all the possible before turning to the improbable. third is to take exhaustive notes. clothing is way down there"
but he's a stuffy male scientist type with a preference for trenchcoats and deerstalker caps...

and i get the impression the younger ponytail girl is the medium.. explaining why she is looking at granny while blushing.. obviously the good looking lady in the psuedo-goth outfit is the Parapsychologist leader of the pair.

i was in a big Arthur Conan Doyle mode when i made the character, decided a character with an obsession with a fictional character might be fun.

and i've not even heard of that series.

Never got into BTS, was always more a anime/mecha/superhero fan so favored TMNT/Robotech/Heroes Unlimited for my Palladium fare
